Install from the Chrome Web Store
Add News-Distiller to Chrome → — click "Add to Chrome" and confirm.

Pin the extension to your toolbar
Click the puzzle piece icon 🧩 in the top right of Chrome → find News-Distiller → click the pin icon. The News-Distiller icon will appear permanently in your toolbar.

Enter your access code
Click the News-Distiller icon to open the side panel. Expand Access Code, enter your Distiller Pack code and click Save.

Click "Distill This Page"
Navigate to any article and click Distill This Page in the side panel. News-Distiller reads the article text directly from your browser and streams your summary.
🔒 About the Chrome permission warning
When installing, Chrome will warn that News-Distiller can "read and change all your data on all websites." This is standard Chrome language for any extension that reads page content. In practice, News-Distiller only reads the article text on the current page, and only when you explicitly click "Distill This Page." It never runs in the background, tracks your browsing, or sends any data other than the article text to our servers for summarization. See our Privacy Policy for full details.
Get a Free Distiller Pack
Email RequestNews-Distiller is free to use. Distiller Packs are available free of charge — email paul@pklmedialab.com to request a code. Because each distillation incurs AI processing costs, codes are distributed on a limited basis at Paul's discretion. Your Distiller Pack code is saved in the extension and used until its distillations are exhausted, at which point you can request another. (TruthPrism has its own separate Prism Packs; codes don't cross between the apps.)
